Dorrigo Community Markets – Hickory Street Dorrigo
March 3 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
An event every month that begins at 8:00am on day First of the month, repeating until December 1, 2018
Dorrigo Community Markets are run by the Dorrigo Showground Trust as a service to the Community. They are held monthly in Hickory Street on the first Saturday of the month starting at 8am and finishing up around 12 noon. Stallholders are welcome from the Dorrigo area and beyond.
The Market usually has around 35 stallholders presenting a wide range of goods and services to locals and visitors.
Commonly there are representatives from community organisations which use the Market as a means of generating funds to assist in their operations e.g. Lions and CWA. Other stallholders include providores of jams and chutneys, conventional and organic fruit and vegetables, coffee, wines, cakes and slices, seedlings, bric-a-brac, handmade jewelery, preloved and new books, cards, flowers, honey, clothing, plants, food etc. You can have your aura checked and your back massaged too! Local entertainers often strike up a tune which complements the social conviviality of the morning.
Please join us for some “fair dinkum” country hospitality!
