Barista and Safe Food Handling Skillset Course – Nambucca Heads Bowling Club
In this three-day course, you will gain two nationally accredited units that are part of the qualification SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality:
SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety
SITHFAB005 Prepare and serve espresso coffee.
Students will learn how to extract and serve espresso coffee beverages using commercial espresso machines, and learn personal hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses, and how to follow predetermined organisational procedures to identify and control food hazards.
This course runs on Monday 17 May, Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20 May and will be held at the Nambucca Heads Bowling Club. The course is offered for a concessional fee of $80 as it is government-subsidised (normally $240). Further concession available for eligible participants.
