Dear Bellingen Shire
15 December 2020
May Christmas bring you fun times,
And safe celebration.
As media enters the “silly season” of reruns, and while there is no active Covid 19 detected outside quarantine hotels, it seems a chance for me to take a little break.
Our local Covid 19 clinic – being entirely privately set up and run by your local doctors and their staff – is also in less demand at the moment so we will open 0900-0930 this week still, but then look at a break until January. Dates to be notified.
There is still the testing clinic running at Coffs Harbour Hospital.
We expect the climate to change in January, because it is changing anyway, but also the summer will be in full swing and we will have had the Christmas season of sharing to point out if there are any residual outbreaks waiting to happen. Of course if it all changes…. we have the set up ready to go at a moment’s notice.
We will also need to be having lots of conversations with everyone about pending vaccines and the results of mass vaccinations in the northern hemisphere. Keep fingers and toes and eyes and viral spike proteins all crossed.
(That is of course if anyone wants to ever be able to travel overseas, buy imported goods, or have family members working in export industries).
See you on the other side of sudden weight gain., and tired laughing muscles.
